Memories of Lake Geneva
For over 50 years Lake Geneva, WI was the home for the encampment offering families a week of spiritual and physical renewal. We've collected many written memories from attendees. Here are their thoughts...
- I remember Vernon Boyd's song leading -- always an inspiration for me.
- I also remember Jack Plummer's song leading -- always an inspiration for me.
- The entire Plummer family's faithful involvement in the Lake Geneva
- Cheese and crackers
- Tiny showers
- Tony, Bob and Randy's challenging talks that made me "think"
- Our grandchildren squealing and jumping up and down in our car as we drove into the camp -- their tears as we left -- their sand castles at the beach
- Walking up "the hill" to lectures

One memory I have is the lectures in the round domed building. One night a racoon stole the show by crawling around up in the rafters. I don't remember who the speaker was or his subject.
