Memories of Lake Geneva
For over 50 years Lake Geneva, WI was the home for the encampment offering families a week of spiritual and physical renewal. We've collected many written memories from attendees. Here are their thoughts...
Memories of Lake Geneva Encampment
- I remember relaxing on the porch of the Administration Building when Don Crittenden went swimming. He began having problems and I became very unrelaxed. About that time Ann saw him and got the life guard -- he saved him. Thanks be to God he was eventually OK after recuperating a few hours. Give God the victory that Don is still with us today!
- Boat rides
- great, great uplifting messages.
- The friendships old and new each and every year.
I love you all!

I remember the year that a tornado warning was issued about halfway through the morning session and we took cover in the storm shelter under the dining hall. Most of us were listening for updates on possible touchdowns when Joe changed the mental climate by starting us in congregational singing.
